Fairway Park, Cypress CA
Robert H. Grant's Stardust homes from the early 1960s, in three pockets, with the highest add-on rate in the city.
Fairway Park was built from 1961 to 1969 by Robert H. Grant under the Stardust brand, in three pockets, one across Moody from Evergreen Park. All-electric Medallion homes with hardwood floors on raised foundations, on about 6,000 square foot lots with no HOA. Five plans: three single story, and two two-story plans that put the primary bedroom downstairs. Most of the recent sales are at a size that matches no original plan, so assume the house has been added onto. Darrell Essex Park, by Oxford Academy, is in the neighborhood. Mid-tier, move-up buyers.
CRMLS closings December 2023 through September 2026, as of September 2026. Updated monthly. See the whole city on the Cypress buyer’s guide.

What is Fairway Park?
Fairway Park was built by Robert H. Grant under the Stardust brand, with plans and elevations by Earl G. Kaltenbach, the same architect who did the Meadows. The Fidelity National Title map shows it in three pockets, one of them across Moody Street from Evergreen Park. Homes were built from 1961 to 1969 on about 6,000 square foot lots, with no HOA.
The homes were sold as all-electric “Medallion” homes. The original brochure lists hardwood floors on raised foundations, terrazzo entries, brick and stone fireplaces, ash cabinets, ceramic tile counters, sunken living rooms, oversize two car garages, and copper plumbing. That raised foundation is a real difference from the slab-built subdivisions nearby, and it is one of the first things to check on an inspection.
The Fairway Park plans
| Plan | Layout | Elevations |
|---|---|---|
| 1402 | 3 bed, 2 bath, single story | The Brittainy, The Stoneridge, The Newport |
| 1403 | 3 bed, 2 bath, service porch, single story | The Monterey, The Kona, The Hartford |
| 1404 | Two story, primary bedroom down, three bedrooms up, three baths | The Greenbrier, The Winterset, The Dorchester, The Hudson, The Springfield |
| 1405 | Two story, three bedrooms and two baths on the main floor, upstairs play area convertible to two bedrooms | The Piedmont, The Outrigger, The Dunbar |
| 1406 | 3 bed, 2.5 bath, atrium, step-down living room, single story | The Encanto, The Winslow, The Clifford |
The brochure prints no square footages, and the plan numbers are not sizes. The sizes that repeat in CRMLS are 1,380, 1,657, 2,100, 2,161, and 2,667 square feet, but 28 of the last 40 Fairway Park sales were at a size that matches none of them. That is the highest add-on rate of any subdivision in Cypress. Ask for the permit history on any Fairway Park home before you write.
